It all started in 1953…
Inspired by the engineering marvels of the Witwatersrand cooling towers, Theuns Corver Sr. started out building silos and soon expanded to reservoirs, and dams. Many of these structures are still in active use today.
From the start, Theuns designed and built his own shuttering solutions — partly because he was bootstrapping the business, but mostly due to his exceptionally high standards. This tradition has continued for over 65 years, and is part of his legacy.
Theuns was also a renowned storyteller and musician. He played over 30 instruments without receiving any formal training. He has written several books about Warden town and district. His legend lives on in the custom design, excellent workmanship and passion for people that remain at the heart of our business.
