BG3 Pipeline Project
T.G. Corver & Sons, subcontracted to the main contractor Esor, did all concrete works on the BG3 Pipeline Project from 2011-2013. This included total encasements, scour chambers, air valve chambers and valve chambers. Over 4000 cubic meters of concrete was used, with approximately 2000 tonnes of reinforcing.
The 3.5 meter diameter pipeline stretches 10 kilometer from the Vaaldam wall outlet to the purification works canal in Vereeniging. The client was Rand Water.
