Without roof: ± R1.50 per litre
With roof: ± R2.50 per litre
These rates exclude add-ons such as pipes and pump stations, and may vary with material costs.

Only potable water reservoirs require roofs to prevent contamination. Non-potable reservoirs used for irrigation or livestock do not need roofs.
